Anders and I spent a lot of time solving mysteries by exchanging various spreadsheets. Spreadsheets became our first option in most of the cases and over the years we found a number of applications for spreadsheets that we don't believe was the indended use, neither by the inventor of the program nor the constructor of the problem we solved. Numerous are the spreadsheets I have in my mystery toolbox that has Anders and my signature on them.
Description
To find the coordinates and the codeword for the following problem you need to solve two fairly straight forward problem. Using the correct formulas in your favorite spreadsheet software will quickly give you the correct answers. But as usual I'm convinced that there are other simple ways to get the needed coordinates. When you have the coordinates you should geocheck them below to get hold of the codeword needed to find the cache.
To find get the Northern coordinate you need to do some straight forward math.
The coordinate is N AB° CD.EFG where
A = Unit digit of 4544497
B = Unit digit of 45325278
C = Tens digit of 2335321
D = Hundreds digit of 763241765
E = Unit digit of 3287932
F = Unit digit of 587749212
G = Unit digit of 154339765
You might run into a small issue when trying to calculate the answers but that's where spreadsheets might come in handy.
To get the Eastern coordinate you should consider the following numbers:
